Historic Preservation Awards
The Lafourche Heritage Society presents awards annually to one or more individuals or business who have undertaken the restoration of a historic building located in Lafourche Parish. The awards are intended to support, encourage, and inspire community members to preserve the material culture exemplified by local architecting. Each award can be given annually, or only one or the other awarded, depending on the structure being considered.

This award also includes projects or work that make special contributions to the community and/or a pioneering investment in historic districts in need of revitalization.
